Herman Cain at the SRLC

Herman Cain has distinguished himself as a successful business leader, popular radio talk show host and celebrated conservative speaker.  I was proud to vote for him when he ran for the Georgia U.S. Senate seat vacated by the retiring Zell Miller in the 2004 Republican primary (Johnny Isakson won the GOP nomination and went on to capture the Senate spot).  He has also been a popular Tea Party speaker in Atlanta.

Most of the media attention on the Southern Republican Leadership Conference has been focused on the speeches of potential 2012 presidential candidates, but I believe that Mr. Cain made one of the most compelling.  The Right Scoop has provided the entire speech (via Ed Morrissey at Hot Air):

Ed Morrissey interviewed Mr. Cain after this speech and promises more information about this last line of the speech regarding the 2012 Presidential campaign:
"There might also be a dark horse candidate you don't know about."
